ABOUT ME
My background includes a degree in psychology and years of managing business teams down the corporate culture freeway. Nothing gave me greater satisfaction in those capacities, than subtly guiding people toward success with their vocations. Personally, I’ve always been comfortable with independent choice and its worth in taking. Greater successes don’t arrive, without the confidence to look beyond comfortable. Over the years a drumbeat kept growing louder, pounding from within to escape. Slipping away into coffee shops and hiding out writing a few hours on weekends, became some passion or curse.
Family members were curious. Working on a book was cool and all. Eventually though, you could tell they began wondering if anything would really come of my disappearances. Certainly there were moments of personal doubt as well. I began realizing the daunting task my first novel was to finish. There never were enough spare moments between family time, earning a living and just life.
Then ideas formed about a smaller story. I made the decision to set aside my initial endeavors and focus efforts on this new first project. To my family and friends; thanks for inspiring the process to speed up. Writing is something I do to make peace with my spirit. I’d be less than honest not admitting, it gives me warmth in providing yours with a smile.
